I had the same problem with a tv ,trash right out the box,and refuse to replace it.
I just bought a Samsung Ativ Pro PC, and right out of the box, the tablet has faulty LCD display.
The LCD display is yellowish on all the sides of the screen, and a clear line that differentiate between the yellowish part and the normal part, so its not a backlight issue.
I took the tablet to a service center, and asked for a 1-1 replacement, but the service center refused, and they offered to fix the LCD. I'm thoroughly disappointed by this. The problem came right out of the box, and yet I'll have to live with a fixed unit? Is this the kind of service Samsung is providing?
There's a worse problem. The Samsung service center says it might take up to 47 days to get it fixed because they might have spare parts shortage. Seriously, I have to wait for 47 days to use something I bought 1 day ago?
Please rectify this, I'm really disappointed with the customer service provided. Refusing to replace or refund a defective unit right out of the box is totally unacceptable.
