Bad customer service

by thloh85 / May 25, 2013 11:36 AM PDT

Hi,

I just bought a Samsung Ativ Pro PC, and right out of the box, the tablet has faulty LCD display.
The LCD display is yellowish on all the sides of the screen, and a clear line that differentiate between the yellowish part and the normal part, so its not a backlight issue.

I took the tablet to a service center, and asked for a 1-1 replacement, but the service center refused, and they offered to fix the LCD. I'm thoroughly disappointed by this. The problem came right out of the box, and yet I'll have to live with a fixed unit? Is this the kind of service Samsung is providing?

There's a worse problem. The Samsung service center says it might take up to 47 days to get it fixed because they might have spare parts shortage. Seriously, I have to wait for 47 days to use something I bought 1 day ago?

Please rectify this, I'm really disappointed with the customer service provided. Refusing to replace or refund a defective unit right out of the box is totally unacceptable.

My service number is 4152390463, I'm from Malaysia.

Thanks.

I have just noticed your complaint about samsung customer services, I have had bad service from samsung customer services, only today they told me that my smart tv E series bought 6 months ago was not covered for the third repair because the tv was out of warranty . I have told them that the service is bad and advice anyone to avoid samsung tvs. I told them i want a new tv but they have refused again and are going to repair it.
If it goes wrong again I shall take further action and if I have to I shall take advice on how to take them to court.
Hope your pc is working ok now.

We bought a very expensive Samsung fridge, we had it 6 months and then a door rubber split. We called customer service and the woos began. I have nothing against immigrants, I am one myself, but why staff a customer service desk with people who cannot actually speak English in an English speaking country? The guy, East Indian I think, took the complaint and asked me to send in photos of the problem to his email address, which I did.

A week later an African woman, a supervisor apparently, phoned to to tell me in incredibly broken English, that my complaint was rejected because I didn't report the problem with 24 to 48 hours of delivery! I explained it was a new issue and was told to phone the Executive Customer care people who would have to deal with this and gave me the number. I phoned it and got a South American this time, he asked me to take a photo and email it in, I explained I had done this. He said that the Executive Customer care people would have to deal with this and that they were shut for the day already (Friday). Wasn't that the number I had just called??? What the hell? He then said they would call back tomorrow but if they didn't to phone in again (apparently they were open Saturdays and Sundays, the guy confirmed it). Anyway, 3 days later and no call so I called again, I got a guy from the Middle East this time. I went through it all once more and he apologized and 30 minutes later a repair man called me and a day later it was fixed. Since then, I have now had 3, yes 3 follow up calls to check if the repairs had been done and if I was happy with it. I tried to complain about the horrendous customer service but they don't want to hear that - I still haven't spoken to anyone who can actually speak English properly, what a fiasco.

Customer service all from, East Indian! I have buy a dryer and a washer from Samsung the washer had a bolt missing in it and it was making a lot of noises a technician came to fix it and now it good but but maybe two day after that it the dryer turns! The heating element stop working in it. I have called 4 time. The first time it took me 10 minute to make the guy understand what was the serial number and the model number(each one is 20 letter long...). He put me on hold and he hang up on me... Second time I call it was a other 10 minute for the serial number and model number! after that the guy ask me to push a button on my dryer while pressing start for tree minute... When the three minute ended he was not on the phone any more... The third time a other 10 minuter for the serial number and model number! the guy asked me to go to the dryer and push the button for 3 minutes while pressing start again! I told him that i already did that whit a other agent before but he will not understand so I hang up on him!
For the last time that i have called first thing that i told the guy on the phone was i want to talk to a manager and he told me no... I was like ***! I am stuck whit a broken dryer the set (dryer and washer) cost me 1800$ maybe it not enough for Samsung to pay for real English worker! Someone who cant understand you and someone that dont answer the phone is the same thing! Their is no communication! It a good way to save money for them... Maybe that it is whis they keep them!

So it is the last time that i buy from Samsung!
