Yes, it sometime happens like that. It is just that you did not take the right steps. if you still have interest in ordring for goods online, make sure you use the following steps
1. After locating the items to be ordered online
2. Call the company directly to ask for method of delivery, days to be taken before arrival, how many years guaranteed, is there any place for good returned and at what cost and other necessary things
3. Make sure you read customer comments on the products and company online
Avoid this company like the plague. Customer service is non-existant, reliability is very poor and their returns procedures are absolutely appalling.
I ordered a SmartQ T20 tablet in June and after about 7 days, the device arrived. It became quickly apparent that the device was faulty. I was then asked to return the item at my own cost (£9.50) on the basis that this would be refunded.
After a lengthy delay, a replacement item was eventually shipped out. On receipt, this item had a cracked edge on the plastic bezel. I immediately notified them that I wasn't accepting this item and wanted to cancel my order. The replacement item was returned (again at my expense £6.50).
After a big delay, they agreed and credited my Paypal account with the money - but took £15 off.
I have queried this with them extensively but they REFUSE to answer my email.
It has cost me about £30 and three months to deal with this company and I still have no tablet. As far as I am concerned, this company should not be trading in the UK. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
