AVG

Question

AVG security .

by shafiqkhan31 / September 22, 2013 10:22 PM PDT

My AVG works OK but there is an annoying glitch, which is something new(I have been using AVG for some years).
After a few minutes of getting on line a message comes on to ask to restart the computer to get the security in place.
Not the exact words of the message but it sums up the essential issue.
Is it normal or there is something I can do about it.

Thank you for the advice. I fear I am not sure how to navigate to the suggested place. I will appreciate some hints.
I am using windows7 on this computer. I bought the AVG disc and loaded it some six or so weeks ago. So far I recollect , it worked ok but after all the updates, I am in the situation where repeated restart problem has made it rather annoying issue.
Be grateful for help.
I have done very many things re. Computers but age is catching up and I forget simple things if I do not visit the process frequently. Please remind me how to navigate to the place you suggested.
