AVG installer error code: 0xE001003D

I do not use a proxy server.
Get above error code with error message:Specified file not found. An invalid control file has been received. Please try again later.
Context: Initialization of AVG online installer.
System info:
Windows vista/internet explorer 8
Using home dsl wireless internet connection

ive tried both options downloading from main page.. and i have tried to download frm the 64 bit link

i have used avg for years but on a different laptop

this is a brand new laptop im trying to install to windows 7 64 bit
an it keeps sayign your installer files are corrupt
