Auto Vol Control for Pioneer Plasma

by oh2dive / December 28, 2008 11:27 PM PST

The specs for the Pioneer Kuro Elite Pro-151HD (60") claim that it includes an Auto Volume Control feature you can set either on or off.

Can anyone tell me if this feature on this model is what keeps your "program" volume and "commercial" volume at consistent levels (so you don't get blasted by very loud commercials)?

Or (as with the Samsungs) does this feature on the Pioneer only keep the volume levels consistent as you change from channel to channel?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
