Question

Are these compatible??

by Vastias / March 19, 2012 6:06 PM PDT

Alright so I'm building a desktop on NewEgg and I'm not really sure if these parts are compatible. I consider myself to be very tech savvy and software savvy, but hardware isn't something I'm great with when it comes to the compatibility aspect.

That being said I'm working on finding a motherboard, cpu, and video card that all work together and offer me enough power to work with Photoshop. Blender, and still be able to run games at high settings.

So, here are the links to the parts I'm looking at on NewEgg and I'm fairly sure that the cpu and motherboard are compatible, the biggest question I have is the whether the video card and motherboard work together.

Motherboard:

CPU:

Video Card:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102908

Thanks a lot in advance guys! I'm really hoping to get this thing up and running soon since majoring in Media Arts is difficult to do without a computer haha!

MB says CPU socket is AM3+.. I'd double check the match before buying and make sure you get a quality CPU HS fan.
