It seems that you are eligible to get the refund. Recommended procedure how to do that is described in the What is AVG's refund policy? article.
I stopped using AVG months ago but apparently had set auto renewal when last purchased. I did not receive any advance notice that renewal was forthcoming and today I got notice they billed me for renewal. Within hours I cancelled future auto renewals and requested refund of this renewed subscription that I have not used and will not use - I have not entered renewal key. I got 3 email denials to my requests for refund, the last saying I would have to call a special number to discuss the matter. What criteria do they have to grant a refund for a pre-sale that has not even been activated? Has anyone managed to get a refund from this company in similar circumstances?
