All file from cloud (dropbox/google drive) sync to iPad

by Morphasella / August 7, 2012 8:19 AM PDT

I'm looking for an apps that enables me to sync the whole Dropbox and Google Drive files/folders into iPad internal memory.

This is to make sure that I can use the file whenever I don't have Internet connection.

Doesn't dropbox do this already?

Does here!

And it looks like Google Drive does it too. Link only.

to access all the data stored there.

Just tried it on my iPad and receive the message, Unable to view the file, No internet connection available

It appears you need time to use this app.

It works great here. Even without the connection. Are you asking me to write the user manual in this forum? I'm not sure.

Here when I use DropBox I can pick and choose what files to sync. Later, without an internet connection the files I synced are ready to use.

Sorry about that. At least here it seems to work without the internet connection with this caveat.

I don't think dropbox can do this!

3rd party apps
by Morphasella / December 24, 2012 5:06 PM PST

Im from Android ecosystem
In android, im using dropsync in multiple device.
When ever i update my file on another device, that device dropsync will talk to dropsync in other devices, and once the other device is connected to internet, they AUTOdownload the latest file.

Also, i have thousand small files. I am not strong enough to go to each file, set them to appear online.

Therefore i come here to ask experts whether ios have similiar 3rd party apps as in Android.

Nvm, ive asked the creator of dropsync, he told me ios did not approve any api to run or sync in background without the user activation.

Easy to solve.

Put all the files in a zip file and unzip on the other side. Then again I think I can sync a folder so no need to select file by file.

It's a shame that computer coaches and consultants cost so much.

It surely can,

all you have to do is sync the files you need off line
