And did you try another router? It's cheaper than any service call.
I have had a reliable wireless network for 4 years on an Airport Extreme (2nd Gen). I have a PC (ethernet), printer (USB) another printer (wireless), a wireless laptop and an iPhone 4 this is all connected to the internet via DSL. Recently, I lost access to the wireless network with all devices, however all devices hardwired into the Extreme worked normally. This does not correspond with any changes in configurations, software or firmware updates. I restarted the base, PC and DSL in recommended orders. I have reset factory settings on the base and setup a new network without apparent conflicts. The green indicator light still beams and yet no wireless signal. I'm beginning to suspect a hardware failure. So two questions. Is if possible for the base to fail to broadcast a signal and still get a green light? Do you suggest any troubleshooting tips?
