Question

Advice on small tablet with 4G LTE connectivity, please

by ufauxreal / September 15, 2012 6:11 PM PDT

Ideally what I would like is an iPod Touch with 4G, but that doesn't exist. I don't want a phone... I use a Verizon pre-paid cell which meets my needs, and I don't want to be saddled with an $80-$90 monthly bill. What I'd like is something with many of the features of a smart phone, but without the phone part. Does something like that exist?

I have looked at the Verizon Jetpack and other mi-fi type devices, and I may go that route, but that,s just one more piece of equipment to carry around. Also I don't want an iPad or any other tablet that large... The smaller the better.

So, what recommendations do you have for me?

Thanks!
JB

Same Boat

I am in the same boat. I want something smaller then the 7inch tablets. Something the size of an iPod touch would be ideal. Let me know if you have found anything.

Why 4G?

Even here 4G is spotty so could you imagine how upset the average consumer is when they demand 4G and they rarely see it light up?

At 35 a month with few choices there is that Virgin Mobile smart phone (android.)
