Are you telling me you are not going to fix the hardware?
Why not some USB boot or pulling the hard disk to put in some other hardware that can boot CD and use NTPASSWD?
Or better yet, execute your disaster plan.
Ok, I really screwed myself here, I have a dell C510/610 laptop that has windows 2k pro on it I stupidly took the main account ..apparently the only account off of a old domain and tried to put in the local workgroup at the office for this girl.. you guys prolly know the rest.. I had to reboot and then of course her password will not work as she does not have a local account and I took it off the domain where she did have an account..this all being held in the local laptop. This laptop has a DVD that can swap with a floppy I have tried everything to get the DVD or the floppy to boot so I can use one of my many ERD, WinKey whatever but I cant boot it from anything other than the hdd..?? I have reordered the boot and disabled the other devices and still no boot other than hdd..
