Question

Adding Album Art - folder.jpg is visible

by ThatGuyDesigns / November 2, 2012 3:24 PM PDT

Last summer I used MediaMonkey to scrape information for my MP3 library... basically wiped out all ID tags, added in title/artist/album/track/year/genre and addedan album art file.

I added the file to the folder and the mp3 file itself. When done, everything was great, folder had the artwork, but the folder.jpg file was hidden.

Decided to finish what I started, but now, I can't seem to get that folder.jpg file to be hidden.

It's not because of the folder options to hide/show hidden files, and for album folders I did last summer the folder.jpg is still hidden... I just can't seem to get any of the new stuff to hide.

I tried the MediaMonkey foum with 0 luck... figured I'd try here. Any suggestions?

hide/unhide doesn't work

In reply to: Hi

Show/unshow hidden in the folder options doesn't do anything.

If I click the file properties and click 'hide' they only hide if I have the folders set to 'not show hidden files'. However, the folder.jpg artwork for the other older folders, stays hidden regardless if set to hide/unhide.

Only way to see the other files, is to show hidden protected windows files.

Must be a way to do it, last summer it did it on it's own, though I think I was still using WinXP, now I have Win7x64.
