Question

add/remove list not fully populated

My Win 8 add/remove programs list doesn't contain half of the stuff I've recently installed! How can I force it to refresh please

What's missing?

Can you give us a clue as to what's missing? I've lost my crystal ball.

Reinstalling is the best way. But if it didn't add itself the first time, chances are it won't do it this time either.

A line in the list is a line in the registry, written by the install. There's no refresh, because there is no other source for the information.

Maybe this stuff were ex-Metro apps? Maybe they were programs that don't put themselves in the list, but make an uninstall shortcut in Start>All Programs?
