add "Artist" and "Album Title" to mp3 files

How to add "Artist" and "Album Title" to mp3 files?
Some of my mp3 files had "Artist" and "Album title" empty.
I use Windows XP Home SP1.

Right click the mp3 files and choose properties. Then click the summary tab. Here you will see a list of fields like Artist, Genre, Album etc. Fill as many as you like and click OK.

Windows Media Player

Go into Windows Media Player and open up your MP3 file. Under the 'Now Playing' list right click your file and choose 'Advanced Tag Editor'. Please note that some MP3s will not allow you to use the Advanced Tag Editor. Here is a screenshot to clarify things:
