I have an issue here that I hope someone may assist me with resolving so whenever I leave a page alone for around 30 seconds if I click anywhere on the page it brings me to some random adware website trying to get me to either buyh something or just spam the only way to fix the page is to refresh it/close it can someone please explain to me how I can remove this? Malwarebytes comes up empty.

You may have to change the homepage back to your choice. No acceptable app or cleaner does this for us yet because we all agree it's bad form to change that without notice. That is, the bad things do that so the good things leave it be and let you change it.

...so whenever I leave a page alone for around 30 seconds

Does this occur on EVERY site you visit? What happens when using a different browser?

if I click anywhere on the page.. - Is it (truly) EVERYWHERE on the page?

it brings me to some random adware website trying to get me to either...

Is it one "random adware website" in particular? Or various (unrelated) sites?

One reason I ask is to rule out Contextual Advertising. An example would be ads by Vibrant Media. They appear on the page looking like this. If you hover over them, an ad associated with the word will popup.

If what has been suggested doesn't work for you, at the very least I would recommend installing Adblock Plus.

Best of luck..
