ActiveSync encountered a problem on the desktop.

I'm getting this error message on my TiLT after upgrading to 6.1. No problems before. I use two PC's and my Tilt to get my calendar synced. Any ideas?

Finally talked to AT&T and they gave me HTC helpline number - 877.878.6944. Explained my problem and the guy quickly suggested I try this: On the phone,
Start ? Settings ? Connections (at bottom) then
Chose ?USB to PC? icon
Then uncheck the box ?Enable advanced network functionality?

Seems to work now on both PC's

Also a "Repair" on Office

Indications from other threads are that the error "ActiActiveSync encountered a problem on the desktop" is pointing to the Office "APIs".

After trying other things from various threads (including what's mentioned on this thread), what worked for me was to do a "Repair" on "Office 2010".

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit)
Office 2010
Windows Phone 6.1 (Sprint Mogul)
