Acer netbook No Sound HELP!!!

I am at the point of pulling my hair out now!
My Acer network is giving me hell
I have an Acer Aspire One ZG5, run XP home edition, 160GB
For unknown reason, the sound stop working.
try to update driver and check on the manual, not working.
ALT-F10 is not working.

Do anyone has any idea what to do? I am running out of idea!

Please help!

Since alt f10 is not working.

Time to use those restore dvds you made earlier. If not, call Acer and order them up. Yes, I've read where people write ". I can not find a copy of Acer's eRecovery Management anywhere on the internet. "

So don't gripe too long about it.

this is so strange cuz i have an Acer aspire one and when i got it it had no sound! if u think i can help SORRY!!! i am stuck toooooo!!!!! so anoying isn't it i know how u feel!!!!!! it has speakers under it BUT giving no sound! my brothers friend has a netbook not an acer but the same design and he has speakers like that but he HAS! sound comeing out!!!!! WHY WHY WHYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!! :((((((((((((( :(((((((((((( :_(

That's either a hardware issue, or a software issue (drivers, service) or a setting.
If you got it new, you've got warranty.

If no luck with warranty, see if going back to factory conditions from the recovery media helps. If not, it's a hardware issue.
