by rexdez / December 14, 2012 7:51 AM PST

I just got a Acer Aspire XC600 compact desktop and I was wondering how you would upgrade the GFX card in it. I have a ATI HD 3850. Thnx if you could help me.

Not gonna work

The thing is the GFX card is built into the motherboard because it is a compact desktop. I'm just wondering if it was possible to add a new one, because there's another port on the mother board but I'd have to use a small GFX card to fit it in there.I think the Radeon HD 7750 might be an option because of its small size. I will update with pictures soon.

I don't have the 3850 in the computer ATM because of it's size, it came from a old computer and I am also willing to sell it for about 60$. My current GFX card is the Intel HD Graphics card.

The 5450 is a small card.

The last 7750 I read about drew too much power. Be sure you can return that if it fails.
