2003 jeep cherokee Laredo, shutting down while driving

by sami2014 / April 29, 2013 2:52 AM PDT

I have a 2003 jeep Cherokee 6cyl, 4.0 L 4wd with 60,000 miles. It recently started to shutoff while I am driving. There are no error codes or symptoms to this strange event. I will be going on different speeds and suddenly I feel that there are no pressure under the gas pedal and the steering wheel is very hard to turn or control then the engine is off. Some time it stats right away and couple times it took few trials until it started. please I need some help Diagnosing this issue.
Any Ideas?

Thanks

This could be the reason

It could be the auto shutdown relay that is faulty or it may have jumped time, especially if it backfires when trying to start it. Hope this helps and good on you! So go for a local shop and check your car... Blush
