10kbps is good right?

Just kinda wondering if others are experiencing the kind of issues we are here with Sudden Link? For the past several weeks I've been staying with my parents again (transitioning military), and since I've been here I must say the cable internet provided by Sudden Link has been at a lower data rate than dial-up!

I've run speed tests (from multiple sites and by-passing the router) and get results ranging from 10kpbs all the way up to uber 200kbps (yes that's a k, not an m).

Anyway, not going to go into full rant, just wondering if other people have the same issues with Sudden Link so that I'll know what provider to avoid when I buy a house in the next couple of weeks.

Thank you for your response and offered assistance. Dad finally got through to a service rep with Sudden Link on the phone, and they sent out a technician. He replaced connectors and upgraded the modem. All is as it should be in the internet world again Happy

Thank you again for your response. My trust on Sudden Link has been restored.
