Pros: The sound is amazing! You can really tell the difference between 16 bit and 24 bit sound.
Cons: It slowed down everything on my P4, 512mb laptop. My CPU usage went to 60% and it ate up about 150mb of my RAM! I will return it and try out the Audigy 2 ZS that is PCMCIA - hope it doesn't eat the resources like this one!

Pros: This little sound card is so much fun. I love how it sits nicely on my desk and how I can just plug in my headphones or some other thing so easily. The extras are great like the ability to hook up an electric guitar and record at 96 khz (or something) and

"Does the job and is portable"
Pros: Has pass-through optical and coaxial digital outputs, analog 7.1 out, Dolby Digital EX processing, small remote, optical in for MD players, sleek design, includes speaker cables. Quick email support.
Cons: Needs external power adaptor, can't process DTS (can pass through to an external decoder though), plastic case feels cheap. Software demo tour is good, but the help index is not very complete.

"Amazing product @ an unbelievable price"
Pros: A lot smaller then the older family member Extigy, amazing sound and DNR level, supports DVD Audio playback, USB 2.0 high speed connection ready for a lot better DVD Audio playback quality and less "traffic jam" on USB resource while using SPDIF decoding
Cons: No MIDI ports, and generates a HUGE amount of HEAT!
