Nintendo has been in the video game racket for many years. So, if there's one thing the company knows, it's how to make a game console for the masses. Nintendo is betting that a cheaper, dedicated gaming machine can compete against the multifunctional systems from Sony and Microsoft. But will Nintendo's offering be a better choice than the PlayStation 2 or the Xbox? We plugged in the demure GameCube and played the handful of launch titles. Here's our assessment.
