When it comes to networking at home there can be fewer things as infuriating as a poor Wi-Fi connection. You can buy cheap Wi-Fi extenders to fix the problem, but they can be fiddly and interrupt your signal as you move from room to room. Mesh routers are a more elegant solution. And now the popular Eero mesh router can be yours for just $28 if you're happy with a reconditioned unit.

Woot is currently selling the Eero router at this low price, but stock will be limited and the deal is only going to run for the remainder of today regardless. So consider ordering your new router now if you want to upgrade your old system.

This particular mesh router is a standalone affair and is good for homes of up to 1,500 square feet even if you don't pair it with any more units. If you do, the TrueMesh technology will intelligently route traffic to avoid congestion, prevent buffering and ensure you get a solid connection at all times. It's Wi-Fi 5 (or 802.11ac as it used to be known) so it's not as modern as the current Wi-Fi 6 Eero models Amazon sells, but it's certainly a lot cheaper and can serve the average home happily.

Other features of the Eero include support for Amazon Alexa, allowing you to control your network using your voice. Initial setup will only take a few minutes and you'll be up and running in no time at all, whether this is your first Eero device or you're expanding an existing mesh setup.

The only hitch? Those stock levels and the ticking clock -- remember, these refurbished Eero routers are only going to be around for a few more hours before they're gone for good.
