I've gotten very cozy with my air fryer lately. I use it several times a week to make quick, frozen snacks or to reheat leftover pizza as well as incredibly easy from-scratch dinners like crispy chicken thighs alongside even crispier potatoes. The best part? When I'm through, a simple rinse of the nonstick cooking basket is about all the cleanup there is.

If you've got NFL game-day cooking on your mind, you might consider snatching this 5-quart Insignia air fryer while it's marked down to $30 at Best Buy (normally $100). If you've had your eye on one of these trendy ovens, this truly is as inexpensive as you'll air fryer deals for models of this size.

Air fryers use "super convection cooking" -- really hot, fast-moving air -- to mimic the results of regular frying but without all the oil. For certain foods like wings and steak fries, you might want a light coating of vegetable or canola oil, but we're still talking far less calories than traditionally fried foods. And a fraction of the mess you'll get with deep or even pan frying.

I tested a slew of air fryers earlier this year and while I haven't gotten my hands on this one yet, it gets very high marks in nearly 2,000 purchase reviews. Insignia is Best Buy's own budget brand, but I've found most of its appliances to be serviceable or better.
