Around a decade ago, the term "Netiquette" was used with some frequency as newcomers began to navigate the wilds of cyberspace. Today, as unfortunate as it may seem, we're still in need of such basic behavioral guidelines with our technology.

Laura Moncur of The Gadgets Page graciously offers a half-dozen basic tips that could keep you from getting stripped of your beloved device--or perhaps even punched out. The first item on the list strikes a particularly heartfelt chord with us: "Only have cell phone conversations in private."
