Attack ad hits Hillary. Who dunnit? I dunnit, says Phil.

A briefly anonymous video blogger turned an ancient Apple ad into a political attack on Sen. Hillary Clinton. The attack ad created a firestorm of guessing and dissing in the blogosphere.

On Wednesday, Phil DeVellis said he built the video on his own equipment and e-mailed a link to various blogs during the past weekend. When he was confronted about the video posting, he confessed. He's now been fired for his efforts. He formerly worked for Blue State Digital, says CNN. That firm does Web site work for Democratic candidates.

Why did Democrat Phil build the video? He's favoring Obama. And we have another 11 months before the early primaries pick the next two major party candidiates. Then there are another nine months before the November election. It's gonna be a long, hot campaign season.

Phil apparently is the first fired video blogger of the 2008 presidential campaign. Fame of a sort.
