Mobile World Congress 2015: ZTE's Open II is a super-cheap Firefox handset

0:56 /

Compact and inexpensive, the Open II is geared toward emerging markets and runs Firefox OS 1.3.

Hello, everybody. It's Lynn La from CNET, and I'm here in Barcelona at MWC 2014 with the ZTE Open II. This compact phone features a 3.5-inch display, and runs Firefox OS Version 1.3. It runs on 3G networks and sports a 2-megapixel camera on the back but no front-facing camera. It's powered by a 1.2 gigaHertz dual core processor, as well as a 1.15 ampere/hour battery. Other features include 256 megs of internal storage, 2 gigs of RAM, and Bluetooth 3.0. Now, ZTE hasn't released any pricing or availability information yet, but we do know that it's gonna be a low-budget phone aimed at emerging markets. Again, I'm Lynn, and you've been checking out the Open II from ZTE.
