CNET's Dan Graziano shows you how to run both Chrome OS and Ubuntu on Google's low-cost computers.

I'm Dan -- piano and I'm here with the Google Chrome books you've probably heard of these little computers the big appeal of their price. Most models come in under 400 dollars lost something that retail -- 300 dollars. These low -- computers from Google's cloud based operating system -- Chrome OS which relies on an Internet connection to run most apps. What this can be extremely useful. With no connection it becomes a real pain. Most people aren't aware however that Chrome OS actually runs the Linux operating system and these computers are capable of much more than you think. Today I wanna show you how to run both Chrome OS and you boot to a popular Linux operating system on your Chrome book. I recommend -- at least an Intel Chrome book right and -- and version because Linux programs are more compatible with Intel model. It also hopes to use some sort of external storage such as a flash drive or SD card to get more space to install additional programs. So let's get started. The first thing you must do is enable the from the developer mode this -- if anything you -- -- in the -- internal storage.
