Hikers and butterfingers alike may be interested in Samsung's rugged Galaxy smartphone, which claims to withstand water dunks and frequent drops. Bridget Carey shows off the latest tough Android phone to be sold at AT&T.

-Hi. I'm Bridget Carey with CNET TV here with your first look at the Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro, this is AT&T's latest rough and tough rugged device. This is the kind of phone for someone who's a mountaineer and wants to take it through nature or you're just clumsy. It can withstand being dropped in water I'm told. It can also take a few drops. They're not gonna let me drop this on camera but I did drop it off camera and it didn't fall apart. The back as this texture to it that's pretty interesting, it's a no slip grip and this knob make sure that it's water tight. It also have a protector above where the earphones go to also protect water come sinking it. The front has some hard buttons for the home and other menu keys. And on the back, you have a 5 MP with a flash. It has a 4 inch screen at a super Amoled display. It also has expanded memory, there's a memory card slot in the back underneath the case. It comes loaded with Ice Cream Sandwich and I'm afraid I can't tell you price availability just yet but expect to [unk] out in times for the holidays. For CNET TV, I'm Bridget Carey with the First Look at the Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro
