[ Music ] ^M00:00:03 [ Crowd Cheering ] >> Thank you for coming. ^M00:00:09 [ Music ] ^M00:00:15 >> So, what time did you guys get out here? >> I got here on Wednesday at 9 p.m. >> How long have you been in line for? >> Since 4 a.m., 'cause we wanted, you know, right when they open and everything. >> So, first things first, we got to get the phone and then they're going to help us activate it. So, that's what I'm doing right now. We got 16 gigabytes. ^M00:00:29 [ Music ] ^M00:00:34 >> We have a husband and wife couple here. Why do you guys come in line? >> Well, of course for the 3G, I've been counting down the days. This is like very exciting for me. >> So, have you been talking about this a lot? >> All day, all night for the last 2 months. >> Oh-ho! Hey, we're good? Absolutely, cool! Thank you. All right, so check it out I've got the iPhone 3G in my hand. We've got to activate it but we still have to set it up. So, I'm ready to do that. [ Background Music ] >> So, we bought our phone. It's all activated but the final step is we have to actually set it up on one of the computers in the store. So, my man Dale is going to help me do that, so I hand over the goods. >> Yeah. >> There you go, be gentle all right. So, right now, the phone is connected but we're just waiting for it to synch up to iTunes, so it can get officially set up. >> That's correct. We're waiting for the phone to be set up. >> I almost stood in [unintelligible]. >> Yeah. >> Because -- >> Because it was like 5:30 and I was like, you are crazy. >> All right. We're still kicking in the Apple Store. My phone is connected, but the services are going to hit pretty hard, so, we've been waiting for about 10-15 minutes. I know people don't want to hear that but at least today, it's kind of slow. So, we'll wait it out. ^M00:01:34 [ Music ] ^M00:01:39 >> Mr. Tong, your phone has been set up. >> Yes, this is what I've been waiting for. Okay, check it out, we've got the globe. It's to give you time because the servers are slant but I got my iPhone, I'm all 3G'd up. It's Brian Tong for CNET.com.
