Among a range of new models set for release in the second-half of 2011, GE has announced the E1410, which is part of the company's Power series of cameras. What sets it apart from previous GE models is its stylish exterior and 10x optical zoom, in the vein of the G100, which was also announced at the same time.
Like the G100, the E1410 uses the same 14.1-megapixel Aptina A-Pix CMOS sensor, a high burst rate for continuous shooting, and a 10x optical zoom in its relatively slim chassis. Full HD video recording at 1080p is also provided.
Australian consumers will be the first in the world to see this camera in the flesh, with all the new GE models going on display at the annual PMA expo in Sydney. The E1410 will be released in October this year. Stay tuned for our hands-on experience with the new range soon.
