Following an overwhelming number of entries into the Canon Exposure Photography Competition, the team from CNET.com.au, Canon and World Press Photo winner Tim Clayton joined forces to find our audience's most promising photographic talent.

We had a plethora of images to choose from which we selected our shortlist and winners — from sunsets, travel shots, pictures of friends and family and creatures of every shape and size. Many of you expressed a strong desire to develop your photographic skills further.

After much debate and consideration, we are pleased to announce the Canon Exposure Photography winner as Matt Robinson, who will be taking away a Canon EOS 450D dSLR Single Lens Kit (valued at AU$1,449) and masterclass session with World Press Photo Sports Category winner Tim Clayton. Congratulations Matt!
