Titanfall launches in Australia

After a midnight launch in Sydney, the highly anticipated online multiplayer mech game is available locally.


It's the game that Xbox One fans have been waiting for, and it's finally here.

EA and Respawn's Titanfall had its official midnight Australian launch last night at an event in Sydney. As reported yesterday , Xbox Live has recovered from its server issues, so we imagine that there may have been a few sick days called in from the truly eager.

Titanfall is out now for PC and Xbox One, with Xbox 360 getting the game on 25 March.

Microsoft marketing executive Yusuf Mehdi told Reuters that the company has some big expectations for the game.

"We're making a big bet that Titanfall is going to be a blockbuster launch for Xbox," Mehdi said. "We don't have a sales forecast for the game to share, but we expect it to be big for us."
