Samsung displays concept 8K TV at CES 2014

It may seem like 4K is just getting started, but Samsung is already looking to the future with an 8K concept TV.

Thinking about upgrading to a 4K Ultra HD TV this year? Maybe you should consider Samsung's 8K TV?

We jest of course — 4K is barely out of the starting gate and Samsung's 8K TV is just a concept model at the moment.

But as concepts go, it's a doozy: a massive 98 inches in size with a resolution of 7680x4320 pixels.

Samsung has pushed its TV dominance at CES this year, showing off a variety of curved and flat TVs, including an LED TV where you can actually control the angle of the curvature with the TV remote.
