A few months back, Xbox announced that the Quickflix service — already available on a number of smart TVs and other home entertainment devices — would be arriving on Xbox in September . Apparently, that September has finally arrived, with Xbox revealing that the Quickflix app can now be downloaded from the Xbox Marketplace for both Australia and New Zealand.

Quickflix subscription costs AU$14.99 a month for unlimited streaming of TV episodes and movies.

It's joined by the slightly less exciting — although no less useful — WSJ Live app, which will make available original programming from over 2000 Wall Street Journal journalists across the globe, including four hours of live broadcast a day. This classes up the Microsoft Xbox immeasurably.
