They cover almost every available surface: the floors. The walls. The bed. The curtains. It appears quite innocent, if a little busy, but the QR Code hotel room, designed by Amsterdam's Antoine Peters, conceals behind every code a sexy surprise: pin-up girls, pornographic videos and saucy messages.

According to Peters, the idea was to create a physical manifestation of two very different worlds existing in the same space.

The room seems as abstract as it can be, but secretly, you are surrounded by porn. The abstraction of the room symbolises the fact piquancies are always extracted from the eye, but I think these just belong to hotel rooms. And anyway, aren't we surrounded by porn everywhere, nowadays?

The bedclothes were made in collaboration with Daphne de Jong, and the laser-cut QR poufes were a collaboration with Quinz & Milan.
