Astrophysicist, director of the Hayden Planetarium and all-round awesome educator Neil deGrasse Tyson has brought his radio program to YouTube.

StarTalk is possibly one of the geekiest — and most entertaining — podcasts out there. Co-hosted by deGrasse Tyson and comedian Eugene Mirman, it doesn't just talk about astrophysics, but also a whole range of topics that are relevant to our interests.

Favourites have included the science of time, the science of ghosts, the science of superheroes and — newly added to the YouTube channel — the science of video games, with special guests Will Wright of The Sims fame and Jeff Ryan, author of Super Mario: How Nintendo Conquered America.

There are only four episodes so far, but we're delighted at a new way to consume one of our favourite programs.

You can find the StarTalk episodes on The Nerdist's YouTube channel here, catch up with episodes on the StarTalk website here or subscribe to the podcast on iTunes here.
