This year, cold and flu season conveniently coincided with the November 13 launch day for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. A poll from IGN showed that one in fourto indulge in the new first-person shooter o its first day out.
A new option tomeant that work and school-skippers had to be a little more careful about hiding themselves in case their bosses were browsing YouTube Live and found them gunning down foes rather than crunching spreadsheets.
Playing hooky is, of course, a time-honored tradition. I once skipped school to go to the arcade at the mall, with an assist from my helpful stepmom at the time. I don't remember what I played, but I guarantee it was nowhere near as advanced, hyped, or powerful as Black Ops 2, whichin its first 24 hours.
