Can a Dyson DC50 vacuum up flames? One intrepid tester set out to discover if it could.

We thought we were putting the Dyson DC40 to the hardcore test when we used it to vacuum up glitter — but we hadn't reckoned on YouTube user Photonvids.

After pouring out some petrol on the ground (and confirming that a lit cigarette will not, in fact, light it), he sets the puddle alight — then attempted to banish the flames with a Dyson DC50.
