Audio slideshow: 0th, the band that Skypes

With band members in New York and Las Vegas, 0th (pronounced zero-th) jams via the VoIP service.

When one member of Oth (pronounced zero-th), a San Francisco-based band, decided to move to New York, members came up with a novel idea to keep the band together. They use Skype's Internet-based phone service to see and hear each other--and their audience--and overcome the thousands of miles between them.

For their latest performance at The Lab in San Francisco, two members of the band, which also includes two robots, used Skype to connect from New York and Las Vegas. Click the player below to see and hear 0th as they use technology to perform in a very unique way.
