App of the Day: Pinterest

Pinterest has launched for Android, and updated for iPhone with a bunch of new features that make the community truly portable.

Welcome to CNET Australia's App of the Day, where you can see some of the coolest, silliest and most useful apps in action.

Rejoice, pinners! Pinterest has released apps for Android and iPad, and they're pretty danged nifty. Probably the part we're most excited about is the app's ability on both platforms to add pins directly from your device's camera, which we can certainly see helping the site grow.

Both the iPad and the Android apps have been built specifically for their platforms, with the Android one built from the ground up, rather than porting the iOS app. They're free, so if you're mad for pins (or just want to see what the fuss is about), check 'em out.
