Cross my heart and hope to die, I don't like mobile games just because they have robots in them. That said, Paper Monsters does have a robot, and it is cute as a button. It's another side-scrolling platformer in which you play a little cardboard robot in a little cardboard world, jumping on monsters, zipping down pipes and collecting paper clips and buttons so that you can buy fancy little outfits for your dude. As you wander through, trying to find all of the hidden zones to collect hard-to-reach items, the world comes to life around you ... and, like all the best games, it offers a choice of control systems. The robot's just a bonus. Honest.
