A fan for the grill
The TurboQue Smoker attaches to the side of gas grills, circulating heat and smoke for flavor and efficiency.
It may still be winter, but that doesn't mean that we can't have grilling on the mind. It could be the memory of the succulent taste of grilled meat on our lips (with sauce or without), or maybe it is the thought of a lazy day spent in the sunshine that attracts us to these considerations. Or perhaps we recall (and look forward to) grilling season because of the scent in the air. One thing is for sure: one whiff of the taste of grilling meat, and most people literally start licking their chops.
The TurboQue Smoker from Charcoal Companion does more than just stimulate your taste buds (and those of everybody else who happens to be downwind). Affixing easily to the side of gas grills, the fan upgrades your conventional gas grill to a convection gas grill. Measuring 4.6 inches high by 5.45 inches wide by 4.6 inches deep, the fan is unobtrusive as it sits off to the side of the grill.
The fan may blend in while mounted to your gas grill, but the effects are meant to be anything but inconspicuous. By circulating hot air inside the grill, the fan helps to distribute heat and smoke, helping to create evenly cooked results that are full of smoky flavor. Of course, fanning the grill also creates another thing that may or may not be welcome: additional guests as they come scurrying to find out what that enticing smell is--better make sure to stock up on the grillables.
