From Zagat Survey:Zagat To Go Restaurant and Entertainment guide includes ratings and reviews for 24,000 restaurants and nightspots in 71 different cities. This latest version is optimized for wireless devices, such as the Windows Mobile Smartphones, with features such as over-the-air content updating and full-color downloadable maps. Powerful searching and sorting make it easy to find exactly what you're looking for. Robust listings include type/cuisine, neighborhood, cost, special features and Zagat's well-known ratings and reviews. Zagat To Go also integrates fully with your PDA by letting you save restaurant listings to your address book and add reservations to your calendar. Personalization features include creating a Favorites list and a Wish List as well as storing personal notes about establishments you've visited. This Pocket PC version includes the following bonus guides: America's Top Golf Courses, NYC Gourmet Marketplace, NYC Shopping and Top Movies.

- "Find food while you hoof it"
Everything you love about the Zagat Survey comes to the Pocket PC--the comprehensive list of fine restaurants in your city, the ratings for food, decor, ambiance, and a listing for average price per person. There are also, of course, the pithy user-generated descriptions that the Zagat Survey has claimed as its hallmark.
Version 6.0 vastly improves upon the surprisingly elementary interface of the previous version with a comelier aesthetic. Usability has also seen improvements in the form of a Favorites list to dog-ear establishments. Equally welcome is the addition of ratings and cost information to top level search results and sorting filters. A drop-down menu eases the transition between search categories for a city (restaurants, nightlife, golf) and another button marked "Change" switches easily between metropolitan areas.
While the app does an adequate job mapping a location, getting directions, and initiating a call, Version 6.0 is still inexplicably absent of a useful hyperlink to the restaurant's Web site and the capability to SMS a listing to a pal--not a worry if you're content with adding e-mail addresses manually.)
