EISA bus Enhanced Industry-Standard Architecture bus
A 32-bit bus for PCs built around 386, 486, or Pentium chips. EISA was developed as an alternative to IBM's microchannel bus, and is more compatible with the original ISA bus. EISA computers can generally use ISA cards as well. |
