This straightforward application serves up a quotation of the day (or minute) right on your desktop, although the promised batch of 34,000 phrases of wise words comes as a separate download.
Quote Reader's user-friendly interface allows quick access to display settings and the quote source file. Easy-to-follow controls let you adjust opacity levels, the alignment of the quote box, and the frequency of quote changes. Quotes are randomly displayed, but a search tool lets you quickly find a specific saying.
The program comes loaded with 1,500 quotations, and you can add or delete entries. There are also an additional 34,000 quotes available for free download on the publisher's site. If you're looking for inspiration on your desktop, this easy-to-use 14-day trial application might fit the bill.
