  • ...but still not enough for real business life
Battery lasts about 3-4 hours talk time/ email time without wifi on. with wifi it's 40% less. I try to use this phone for business and I have to charge at least twice during the day. Never really had this issue since the late nineties when I have to travel with more than one battery, but at least I could replace it! Switched to iphone from a black berry pearl (battery lasted full day after 1.5 years of use) and I do love the iphone graphics, email features and overall quality but this phone is just not usable for intense business use yet.
Exchange works ok, it took a couple of days to set up because some setting were not clear on the server side. Some missing features on email are fundamental, for example you cannot search emails .... one of the most used functions on blackberry. Keyboard is ok but still not as quick as the pearl.
Going back to BB for now. In reply to: "Not for the business world yet."

  • I paid 20.99$ in January 18 2008 for the first update, and I should pay again 10 $ to get essentially the same features and a bunch of fixes to the software? I think Apple should've at least offered a different price for people that already bought the update six months ago.
I know that Apple's argument will be that these users have enjoyed these features for longer but 3 dollars a months seems too high to me. If Apple wants customers to pay for fixes to the software they already paid I think this is just the wrong business model. Apple could lose customers in the long run with this.
