- I have a mac mini with panther installed and everything was working just fine, until I installed tiger. Before installtion I checked to see if there was any problems by checking with disk utility and it was ok. I then removed everything but the keyboard and the installation went smoothly. At this point I went through checking spotlight/dashboard/automader and they where fine. Then I tried to restart from the apple menu and nothing happened. I had to use the startup button on the mac mini.I did the same with the shutdown.I tried using some of the remarks from this site, but it didn't change a thing.Do I have to wsit for an upgrade?
