• I understand how the adverts can be worrying, and there needs to be control over how long kids stay on.
  BUT. Neopets encourages the learning of some wonderful skills for children. Through building layouts guilds and shops, on the site kids develop skills in html, CSS, photoshop and loads of similar programs. My playing neopets when it first came out taught me these programs and skills which got me my first job as a web and graphic designer for a large Australian Company.
  So parents as worried as you may be! There are upsides!
