• The idea is pretty old hat.
  About 40 years ago, a very imaginative person who also drew a very popular comic strip had features this concept in his other popular Sunday funny papers supplement. His name was Chester Gould and his appraisals of future technologies were accurate. One other of his concepts was laser communications. He featured laser light beamed from mountaintop to mountaintop. We know that had not come to be, but now the laser is "piped" through fiber optics, still the same concept. Salute to Chester for his technological visions and his entertaining comic Dick Tracy!
